Council Sets Light Schedule

Once again, we invite you to join us tonight in the Third Floor Assembly Room of the City/County Building for the second regular meeting of 2006, Year Three for this City Council. Kickoff time? 7:30 p.m.

The interesting but routine rezoning requests, and of course, the always brittle communications from the public, appear to be the only scheduled divertissement.

But then, Dan Coffey will surely have something diverting to say.

I honestly don't know the answer to this, but can I safely assume the council president makes these scheduled appointments?
