I Guess It Wasn't a Progressive

Baseless allegations, slander, racial epithets, slurs on personal faith, and outright homophobia, all conducted under the cover of anonymity and/or under the influence and guidance of the most regressive elements in elective office...taking sides with the slumlords and the mafia. Throwing "birds" at a man's family as they celebrate the city's signature moment...personal attacks, threats, libels and harassment...

Who is the diseased mind who found it appropriate to launch a brick through the window at James the Cleaner? Logic dictates who is responsible for this. There is a sickness, diagnosed or otherwise, driving a Nazi element in our fair town. If you are one who fosters this hatred, your fingerprints are on that brick, too.

My guess? It wasn't a progressive who committed this crime.

BZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Alex, what are "views and opinions, about life in the city and the current state of our governmental administration that directly affects the quality of life here."

DING DING DING.

Speaking of Trog Sham, here's my current favorite Oatesism:

"Opinions matter and opinions count when it comes to the percieved notion of the job you are doing. But, what you are missing is the real point of all this. What I am doing here is pointing out where we are, and questioning what direction we are going in. We all want the same thing, a better New Albany. There are a vast number of opinions of how we should or should not go about getting there. That should be allowed, not attacked. I am not a bit disgraced, or even a little bit sorry for what I'm doing."

The real sad thing is that destroying the window may have cased James a bit inconvience, the truth of the matter is that Mr. Bliss the building owners insurance may have to pay to replace the window, and his rates could be adjusted up.

So the person who cut loose with the brick has not caused trouble for the intended target, but involved other innocent folks as well.
